The return of FBA goods in the United States is a situation that many sellers may encounter, and sellers can hardly encounter such a situation. Of course, most of the reasons for this situation are from the goods themselves. If it is not sensitive to the goods, then it is the operation problem. General international logistics companies and FBA head-sale. This will not happen at home, so it is basically avoidable.
American FBA goods are returned, many sellers are faced with the situation that goods are returned after arrival. When the goods are returned, the freight is taken, and they have to bear the return freight. The return freight is often very expensive, and they do not follow up the follow-up matters without notice. They are in the dark, wasting time and losing money.
So, about the current tight inspection and acceptance, cargo detention, taxation, as a home, we should know what the details are, and how to correct it?
First of all, we should start with DHL issuing emergency notification. In early June, DHL issued a notice that it would increase customs clearance of imported FBA goods under U.S. Customs Regulation 19 CFR 10.151.Sec 321. The Act provides that any express delivery with the following characteristics will no longer be eligible for a discount of less than $800 declared amount:
1. The same sender sent N (N > 1) invoice goods to the same Amazon FBA warehouse within one day.
2. The N-invoice cargo will be regarded as "Split Shipments". Whether the value of the single invoice is less than US$800 or not, it will all be converted to formal customs clearance.
3. According to the customs clearance regulations, the official customs clearance goods need to provide the recipient Employer Identity Number (EIN number).
But as everyone familiar with Amazon's FBA operation process knows, Amazon does not provide any clearance support for FBA goods, which Amazon has made clear in its plan to generate FBA shipments.
In fact, it is not. Goods returned can be avoided, but some are difficult to avoid, or will be returned by other, after returning, so for FBA goods, Amazon does not provide clearance support is understandable, but also can avoid a problem.
